Boys&Girls

Last Tuesday after Quin (my bimbingan belajar) I decided that I don't want to go home yet because all of my friends were still there. Gue nggak bisa ngasih tau atas dasar apa kita ngumpul malam itu, yang jelas, lama-lama terjadi perbincangan seru tentang Boys and Girls. With all the differences and what we (girls) want from the boys.
It was really complicated, though, karena cara pikir kita yang berbeda-beda. Gue (yang selama ini nggak dianggap cewek) cenderung lebih nggak plinplan dan memilih untuk 'langsung tepat ke sasaran' dibanding sama anak-anak cowok yang seringnya 'pengen belajar' dulu. Huh! Mentang-mentang mau UAN.

Before I begin, I wanna tell you something about my Quin class. I don't wanna go to Quin at first because all off my friends go to INTEN, but my Mother insist me to go there and 'meet new friends'.
Later I met those crazy, freak, expressive, friendly yet really smart friends. Among all my friends, I always be the lazy one, until Nadia said, "Lo kalau di sekolah emang ngapain aja Rat?" yang gue jawab dengan, "Main-main."


Back to the Tuesday night.
Later that night, I gave one simple but really true advice to my friend Zaky ,"Zak, anggap saja lo ini Palestina, dan cewek yang lo taksir Israel. Yah nggak papa deh lo terlihat lebih kecil dari cewek itu karena emang harus begitu. hehe. Jadi, ketika Palestina merudal Israel, rudalnya kecil kan ya? Nah, lo tuh kalo ngedeketin cewek tuh tembakan rudal yang kecil tapi membekas! Biar dia nginget to terus!" woop woop! Bravo for dukun cinta Ratih!

Boys always thought that girls just see their physical appeareance until I told them that it's not true! I'd rather have a loving, kind, and funny boyfriend than the Edward Cullen face but a cheater bastard kind of guy. And I told them, unlike those girls I don't like flowers. Flowers are cheesy for me.
This make Aldi and Zaky said, "Heh! Kalo cowok yang lo suka bawain lo bunga gimana?" Hmmm.....?

There are more things that I don't remember, so I will stop now.

I mean Giuseppe.

He's my computer, and he's about 3 years old. He sit in my table beside Mr. Potato head in my room. He's really slow and has lots of viruses but about 2 weeks ago he went to the computer doctor (not love doctor, haha).
He can't talk, but believe me he can read your mind! He hates Gigi (sorry Gi, not me it's Giuseppe) and won't work when Gigi touched him, maybe because Gigi said he was slow, it's true but it still hurts.

Giuseppe, puh-leaaaaaasseeee be a faster laptop, will youuuu?

I felt so tired today, maybe because of my flu. We did a National Exam drilling in English today, and when I finished, I slept, but then... Kresna shout, "Bangun lo!" in my ear! Gosh, how I hate my childish friends and their attitude!

I arrived home, read the new Girlfriend mag I bought and sleep. Uggghh.. what a day!

What doesn't kill me, makes me stronger

I have so many phobias, or fear, I'd rather called it. I almost crying waktu tour leader gue di London maksa gue naik Stealth di Thorpe Park. I thought it was stupid, I'm not gonna risk my life riding a stupid 90 degrees roller coaster. Thank you very much. I'd rather eat in KFC or something. I didn't enjoy the London Eye as well, sampe Mbak Bella, Tour Escort gue yang tadinya mau fotoin gue di ketinggian bersama kota London dibawah gue akhirnya bilang, "Yaudah, kamu duduk aja ya Rat." hiahahahaha.
My fear of height is very disturbing. Believe me, gue ketakutan setengah mati waktu harus naik eskalator super tinggi di Mall Taman Anggrek. Tapi herannya, setiap naik pesawat gue selalu request duduk di pinggir jendela biar bisa liat langit.
Takut ketinggian inilah yang membuat tour leader gue pas homestay gemes sama gue kali ya. I refuse to rode the Stealth, dan pas mau naik London Eye gue juga hampir nangis. Sampai akhirnya dia ngajak gue ke pinggir London Bridge, oh man!
"Come here," he said (dia berdiri senderan gitu di pinggir jembatan. Terus dia ngebuang kertas kecil ke bawah, and I said, "Littering!" in response.
"Look down," I looked down. "Even if you fall, you're not gonna drown, you can swin right?" he said and bla bla bla there goes the long speech I don't remember.

Yeah right I'm not gonna drown, but I don't know why if I stand in high place I feel like something pulled me so hard I'm going to fall. I don't even know since when or why I am afraid of height, I just know that I am afraid of height, end of story.
Also is London I tried to beat my fear. Riding the Eye is one of the example. During my Eurotrip I also rode the Indiana Jones ride in Eurodisney and I went to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower (although I just sat there waiting for my friends).


I'm gonna quote PM, one day she texted me asking for my phobia, the I said "I have acrophobia or something." and the next day, pokoknya dia bilang, dia kemarin ditugasin guru lesnya latihan bikin essay tentang phobia, and PM wrote about me! hihi. She told me that, "Semua bukan gimana cara lo menghilangkan phobia itu, but how you deal with it. You rode the London Eye after all, Rat. Terus dapat payung, lagi." Iya! Bener! I got a beautiful EF umbrella (payung cantik) for riding the London Eye.

My SIMAK UI? Like Shit.

I cannot answer my 'Matematika Dasar' questions, I screwed up on chemistry, and I can't remember anything about physics. I think I won't make it, but I'm still praying, though, I want the best for me.

My prayer before the test:
"Ya Allah ya Tuhanku, aku tau aku nggak cukup belajar untuk Simak UI ini, but believe me dear God, I want it sooo bad. I wanted to go to FKUI just like what.... half students in this room? Ya Allah, kalau UI adalah tempat yang paling tepat dan terbaik untukku belajar, kalau aku bisa jadi dokter sukses setelah lulus dari FKUI, kalau aku bisa menjadi orang yang lebih baik, tolong berikan aku mukjizat agar aku keterima Simak UI ini Ya Allah. Tolong berikanlah yang terbaik untuk masa depanku. Amin."

Whoa, long time no post! : )

So it's 2009 already, and I'm 17 years old it feels awesome!

Quick news: I got accepted in Trisakti faculty of medicine, finally. Trisakti is always be my favorite University because my Mom always told me how great it is for her to studied there, although she had her ups and downs there too. But father insist me to apply for UI and tommorrow is the test (mission impossible) wish me luck! I don't have enough preparation!

Current watch: Xabi Alonso

Another Espana hombre I adore. He plays for Liverpool fc. His girldfriend name is Nagore and they have a son, a very very cute baby name Jon Alonso.

Mr. Alonso also vice-captain for Spain national team, and wore the ban once in the Euro.
